Heirloom Carriage Driving can teach you the basics from absolute beginners to the more advance levels and provide a challenge for the more experienced drivers. Yorkshire has many varied attractions for those non horse people from excellent museums, shopping outlets, cycle routes and sporting venues.

2 Hour Carriage Drive / Tour
All driving and instruction. Find out about the history of the Colne valley every day life and 1800c wavers cottages in the Pennine hills. By arrangement a visit to the Colne valley museum open Saturday and Sunday till 5 pm. A small charge is payable for entry to the museum. Leaflet on request. Includes lunch.

Taster Course
Taster course for complete beginners. Carriage driving needs to be performed corretly from the start as safety is essential for horse and human. Learn about the parts of the harness and how to assemble them on the carriage correctly from the start. Full itinerary on request.

Additional Information
Courses start at 10.30 (with lunchtime rest) till 3.30 except the Taster course. Most courses include lunch. B&B accommodation should be booked seperately - 10% discount on B&B if you book a course. To place you in our diary we need a non returnable 50% deposit at time of booking plus full payment within 14 days of your arrival for Heirloom courses and B&B.
